Topic: Kinect Hacks

mbanks87	#1 Dec 06, 2010 I have a Kinect and I'm very intrigued by all of the amazing hacks I've seen demonstrated. So I did a little bit of research and found the open source Kinect driver but I'm not well versed at hacks or writing code or anything. I'm not versed at all. So I was wondering if there are even any advantages to installing such drivers on my Kinect.

James	#3 Dec 06, 2010 Hi mbanks87, welcome to KINECTaku! You're not technically installing anything to Kinect, you're installing it on your PC - there's no modifying of Kinect at all. The best place to visit is www.kinecthacks.net. It's got plenty of resources and a community that can help out with your questions. Good luck and let us know what you come up with!
