One of the best shooters on Xbox 360 and some of the best fun you'll ever have in multiplayer. If you've been taken in by Gearbox's shooter, post about your best loot and raids here. If you're yet to experience it, go out and get it (assuming you're old enough, of course!) and enjoy the chaos.

Dropped down over 100 hrs in it, and still have the new DLC sitting on my system that needs to be played. Fantastic game, and a few of the elements from the game are pulled over into the just released Dungeon Hunter Alliance perfectly as well.

Nice, don't think I quite managed 100 hours but I certainly sank well over 50 into this baby. Started on a New Game+ but didn't get very far as those redesigned enemies are nasty, man! Maybe I'll grab it on PS3 and start kicking some behind

It sold pretty well but I still think it's an overlooked gem in the console's catalogue. In four-player mode it's absolutely awesome!

Just got to Old Haven. My group has generally been about 2 levels above the bad guys which has resulted in a low-to-moderate challenge. Old Haven handed our butts to us though. Yikes is that place hard. Seeing the baddies throw down their own versions of the Soldier's turret was definately a HOLY CRAP! moment. We've gotta find some decent gear. I think that's what we're strugging with the most.

I was the same first time I got to Old Haven; the screaming there really does my head in, and those turrets are nasty. Serious armour on those bad guys too, you're best grabbing some acidic weapons and boiling it off 'em that way.

Honestly guys, the game really doesn't even really hit its prime until New Game+, and by downloading the Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC. The SAoGK $10 DLC will take around 10+ hours to complete and has the best weapons, vehicles and environments of the entire game! Crawermax is one of the craziest bosses of any games, and with 4 players in multiplayer on NG+ has the highest chance of dropping the uber-rare Pearlescent weapons!

I remember a friend of mine taking on Crawmerax, said he was critical hitting him for about 15 minutes and barely made a dint in his health. When he eventually won the battle, all old Crawmerax dropped were a few crappy shields

I think your friend exaggerated on the 'few crappy shields' part. Haha I think the average drop from Crawmerax is over a 100 items!

Just completed the The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned (who is totally not the same as Dr. Zed) DLC and one of the Underdome battles (geeze what a chore). I think I'm about half-way through The Secret Armory of General Knoxx and am working concurrently on playthrough 2.0. I'm still struggling to find what I consider to be "decent" gear but I'm not having too much difficulty since I seem to be overleveled in comparison to the quests I'm completing.

I just discovered this game a few months ago (yeah I know I am slow) and I am loving it. Right now I am going through the first playthrough with my son I am playing a solider and hes playing a hunter both of us are level 26. We are currently in New Haven and finished off Rust Commons West.

I might get Borderlands, but probably not. My friends have it though, and they like it.

If you like FPS than I highly recommend the game, even if you just rent it. I am not a fan of FPS (in fact the only FPS I really play are both versions of GoldenEye and Doom) but this game has got me so hooked. Definitely worth at least one play through for any FPS fan.
