So Blizzard has been working on a MOBA of sorts (they call it a hero brawler but is a MOBA). Basically it's Blizzard's version of DotA or League of Legends where you can play a bunch of Blizzard's heroes from all three main franchises and the Lost Vikings soon. Info for it can be found right here

http://us.battle.net/heroes/en/

and if you have a Battlenet account which if you play World of Warcraft, Diablo III, Starcraft II or even Hearthstone then you can sign up for the beta through that as well.

I have been in the Alpha for awhile now and I have to say this game is very beginner friendly. I am enjoying that the longest matches last only about 30 minutes. I never played a MOBA before so this is an experience for me and I am enjoying it alot.

Mainly made this thread to see if anyone else is playing it as well and what you think of it. Also to pass along that closed beta invites are gong out. Also figure that if some of you are playing it we can discuss it here.

I enjoyed LoL but didn't play too much except against the CPU. I always see students in my classes watching videos of it and studying the game. I don't have that much time (or desire) to be competitive in the game.

Blizzard is really good at making polished games so maybe this will be a great alternative.

@Knight: I know what you mean I am the same way, thankfully you dont have to be very competitive with HoS to enjoy it which is why I am. Honestly I dont get that feel from playing HoS at all now maybe if I was to go into the ranked matches possibly, but I just play the casual setting.
