This one's always a bit of fun I find when browsing other forums. All you do, is list the three albums/singles that have formed the soundtrack to the main part of your week/recent life. And then we all nod our heads in agreement/point and laugh as required
This week, I've mostly been listening to...

Paramore - "Paramore" - New album came out on Monday, and I'm not sure that it reaches the high quality of the first three. Still, I reckon it'll grow on me. "Now" is a fantastic track.[/*]
Pint Shot Riot - "The Album" - Fell in love with this album when "Not Thinking Straight" appeared on the FIFA 12 soundtrack, and "Nothing From You" turned up in the background of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. On repeat all week![/*]
Deadmau5 feat. Gerard Way - "Professional Griefers" - Same again...was on the FIFA 13 soundtrack, though. Boomer of a track. [/*]
For me its whatever Pandora has playing. I usually listen to that on my walk to and from work each day. Usually I listen to the metal stations so a bit of Metallica, Ozzy, Guns N Roses, Godsmack etc.
At work all the other employees tend to want to listen to some hip hop station which I generally tune out since I am not a fan of that kind of music.

What's the Difference (feat. Eminem & Alvin Joiner) by Dr. Dre[/*]
Carried Away by Passion Pit[/*]
Monster (feat. Rick Ross, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj & Bon Iver) by Kanye West[/*]
I've been listening to more rap music lately. Pheonix & Kid Cudi have new albums coming out later this month, so I'll probably get a few tracks from their albums. Edit: Thanks for the advice on music Ken. Now is awesome. No wonder it's in 17th place or so on the iTunes Alternative Rock best sellers. 2nd Edit: Kid Cudi made all the samples available for his new album since the last time I went on iTunes. Yes! Red Eye, King Wizard, & Immortal are my 3 favorite tracks.
Nothing My freakin earbuds died on me on my way to work yesturday and I cant get another pair till next month.
I got some with my iPhone that I don't need, if you want them? Can post them to you if you'd like?
Well thanks for the offer man but I live in California the shipping would probably be just as much as a cheap pair lol. I really appreciate the offer though.

In the US iTunes store (maybe Europe's too) you can stream Phoenix's upcoming album for free. I've already got one of the songs, which is available for early purchase, & the first few songs sounded great. Also, Kid Cudi's new album came out today, so I'm getting an iTunes card. If you can, I'd recommend streaming Phoenix's new album before it comes out because it's only free to listen to for a limited time. Thought I'd mention that if anyone likes their music. Edit: Great. iTunes's servers aren't making a connection with my computer to activate my gift card. This has happened 2 times before. I want to buy from them, but their servers are having issues. Am I the only one who has this happen? Hopefully they improve this in the future.
Been listening to the two new Wonder Years tracks - "Passing Through A Screen Door" and "Dismantling Summer" - on repeat. Mix in the new Broadway Calls album "Comfort/Distraction" and lots of 90's skate-punk - Lagwagon, NOFX, Osker etc. Normally my tastes are a bit more diverse but I find the catchier/energetic punk best compliments the weather this time of year.
Anyone here like Alkaline Trio? Curious to hear/share thoughts on the new album.
I like Alkaline Trio, but I've not picked up the new album yet. Might have to correct that oversight this evening
I've been listening to a fair bit of Fenix TX today, talking of 90's skate-punk.
Good choice, sir. I need more Fenix TX in my life. I heard they had a new song in MLB: The Show 13 but have yet to look into it. Those guys get together and breakup more than any other band I can think of.
Sounds a bit more like Denver Harbor than Fenix but still a decent track.
Ooh, yeah - I like that. Not heard of Denver Harbor, but if they sound like that, I might check them out! Nice find, thanks!
No problem. Denver Harbor was formed by a couple Fenix TX members - one being the vocalist - after their initial breakup. For the most part, they sound like Lechuza-era Fenix.
This was their "big" song when they first showed up...
