Hi All! It's another year and another Expo season is almost upon us. Like the first rays of sun that draw us out from the self-induced hibernation that is playing games at home an Expo is a chance to meet with like-minded people, play some games and (generally) have a cracking time. Having missed the last meeting with the OXM forumites in Nottingham I am keen to rectify this oversight.
Having had its final outing at Earls Court the Eurogamer Expo is heading to the Birmingham NEC. As a firm favourite of mine I will be in attendance and I would like to offer an invite to forum members and Px staff around the country (indeed the world) if they would like to meet up, play some games and have a pint or two afterwards? The dates are the 24th to the 27th of September but I will be there Saturday (26th) and Sunday (27th).
To make it clear: this is very much a draft proposal so your input would be great. Are you interested? Are there any other expos you think might be a good alternative? Any chance of Ken passing us all off as journalists for the Xbox Presser at E3?

I wish I could pass us all off as journalists for E3 - but absolutely no chance.
EGX will probably be the only expo I'll be attending this year - I can generally cover the others more effectively from my desk. I'll be there for all four days (as far as I'm aware) and there's generally very little to do in the evenings at EGX that isn't jam-packed full of "media folks" wearing double-collar-popped polo shirts, so this sounds good to me. Count me in for whichever day (or days) is decided upon.
Is there any interest in a meet up still? I don't think I can make the Expo as things have changed at work. I would however like to propose a meet up in Nottingham UK in Novermber or Feb/March time. Would anyone be interested?

What are you most looking forward to at EGX? If you aren't going would you like us to cover a specific game?
Other meet and greets
For other meetups I'm happy with Nottingham during Feb. I am, hopefully, in Japan during November so can't make that but will be taking my Xbox with me, can't afford to miss Fallout 4
