It didn't sell very well at all. THQ misinterpreted the demand for the Wii version as transferable to the 360 and PS3 and, believing that the lack of similar products on those formats meant it'd have a vast market all to itself, arguably over-charged for the thing.

Had it come about 18 months/2 years before when Art Academy was doing the business it could have ridden that wave, but no dice.

Voice commands in Tom Clancy title makes it's games Kinect compatible.

Good point. I don't know about re-releasing them, but maybe if Microsoft made some sort of software bridge between the Vision Camera and Kinect, we'd be able to use Kinect for taking profile photos in games such as Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit and Burnout Paradise.

A lot of the Vision Camera games - like You're In The Movies - were pretty terrible, unfortunately.

What? How did I get way over here?
I'm Nathan and I've primarily been a Movemodo'er. My work provided me with a free Xbox360 and Kintect for a research project I'm working on so I'll be around here from time to time.

They never told me I can't use it for non-work related activities!! Now where is my copy of Forza 4... I must do some "research" as to why the Audi R8 5.2 is my favorite car.

We review every Kinect game, and while Kung Fu Panda 2 didn't take a huge amount of time we wanted to give Child of Eden the length of time it deserved. We weren't planning not to review it or anything

As far as Kinect goes, I'm liking the sound of this Codename: Kingdoms from Crytek. It doesn't sound like a traditional fighting game persay (closer to the likes of God of War) but I'd be over the moon if they added some sort of 2-person Xbox Live versus mode...

I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a Kinect project. For example, using the Kinect to control a robot's movements or an entertainment system. Are there any real world needs that the Kinect might be able to help with? Any ideas or suggestions for a Kinect project would be greatly appreciated.

hey all ! When Kinect launched I was concerned our living room would be too small and almost didnt pick it up. Well we got it launch day and our living room with the kinect sensor up on top of out Entertainment center gives a "good" play space and almost lets us into the "best" playspace. We cant do two player games but we can do 1 player games. Im glad we got it because my kids absolutely love playing with Kinect to them its like having magic in your fingertips to control the game or xBox
