Suggestion:
Most likely you will be able to fix it. My button got stuck and i was able to fix it.
However, you will need a special screw driver to be able to open it up.
The screws in the controllers are tamper-proof torx screws. I think they are size "t-6"… So you will need a tamper-proof torx driver.
If you go to eBay you can get one for about $5. Then, if you need help opening it up after you have the correct tool, go to YouTube and watch a video of someone taking the controller apart. From there it should be pretty explanitory. Just take the buttons out, maybe clean them as well as the empty hole with something like isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip.
So, unless the button got pushed SO hard that it busted the sensor, I think that should do the trick.
