How to Fix Xbox 360 "open Tray Error"?

when i put a disk in my xbox it says reading then says open tray i know its not the disk because i tried multiple disks and new disks. also can you help me because some times when i press the eject button it says opening and i could hear and see the disk tray move like 1cm and dont open so i have to hit the top of it to open it and i want to stop doing that. im going to get a new xbox soon but untill then i have to deal with this.

This is exactly what happened to my console. Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX it may a harddrive malfunction.
