How to Fix Xbox 360 Mic Noise?

I got this new mic that cost about 32 to 24 dollars 3 days ago, its a modern warfare type of mic where you pit this set around your neck, and at the end of the left set, would let me talk by the vibrations of my vocal cords. But as the other mics i had before, it would make a fuzzy noise if i plug it in. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Well if the same thing has happened with multiple mics, it's likely that you have a defective/broken mic port in your controller. Try a different controller and see if that makes a difference. If you don't have another one, try to borrow one from a friend or something, but DON'T buy a brand new one until you know for sure that's the problem.
