Suggestion:
if you want to take it apart this is what you have to do… first off find out the error code do this by turning it on then holding the sinc button then clicking the eject button the red light should move or multiply but if it doesnt then it will defenitly flash very rapidly if you have done it correctly. you must do that 4 times to get the code here is how to read them. if all four lights flash red then thats a 0 if one flashes thats a 1 if two flash thats a 2 if three flash thats a 3. wright this down then get on google and find the meaning of the code. i cant help you any farther without knowing the code and the meaning. when and if you find out email me and i can direct you to a solution if you would like. this is where you have to take it apart. jeffeybel@yahoo.com
