i know you might say wrap the towels around it and cook it for 20 mins, but when i turn it on the 3 red rings flash but the xbox doesnt make any noise and i cant open the disc tray or anything… so nothing is actually working except for the light and there is no heat whatsoever so wraping it in towels is pointless… any other suggestions???
Suggestion:
The towel trick ruins it actually, it melts the thermopaste that holds important microchips in, and it fries those chips…
Best thing to do is send it back to Microsoft, if you broke the seal on the inside, or don't have a warranty, you have to pay $100.00, but that's cheaper than ruining it with the towel trick, because Microsoft won't fix the ones that have been towel tricked.(lol I think I said that enough in one sentence)
Next time get an intercooler fan they're $15.00, and make sure you xbox is standing vertically. But if it is lying flat, put bottle caps under the little black grippers, so it doesn't overheat and redring again.
