Help Me Fix My Xbox 360?

ok i have a xbox 360 that got an e74 error code. I check the cables and there fine. I did the x-clamp fix to both heatsinks. Now just to turn it on i have to press as hard as i can agaisnt the hana/ana chip and i still get now screen image. plz help

I too have E74. I've seen the fix you are attempting. I'm pretty sure you are supposed to apply force as well as heat, as the heat will soften the solder and cause it to reflow. To do this, leave the fan unpluged and turn the xbox on until there are 2 red lights, turn it off, unplug it, plug the fan back in, plug the 360 in again and it should work. Then just unplug it again and reassemble the case
