I would agree with your choice on BFBC2 because I REALLY want to get that game myself however one other FPS I REALLY love on the PS3 is MAG (Massive Action Game) its a FPS with 256 person matches. I think it is the perfect blend between MW2 and BFBC2. Just my opinion and if you get MAG add me to your PSN I'm All2kool and I play MW2 on the PS3 as well. =)
BFBC 2 is awesome, you should definitely get it, or the first BFBC. Red Faction Guerilla is really fun [its a 3rd person shooter, but the destruction is really fun]. Also EA will be realseing Medal of Honour, which looks really fun, it looks like that they may have incorporated the Frostbite Engine from BFBC for it.

The Orange Box (includes Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2, Team Fortress 2(critically acclaimed online only FPS, and Portal)—This one should be pretty cheap
Borderlands is pretty fun….Or Fallout 3..And MAFIA 2 comes out next Saturday…
bfbc2 and mag are definetly the games you cant miss.i still prefer more mag..its a perfect game and definetly you will enjoy it alot ..
