copied games (fake games) is it a risky thing to do?
bare in mind i wont be playing online! I just wanna know will
it still be under warrantee or does that fall away once the thing is flashed??
and does chipping it brin on the ring of death that makes a system malfunction???
Suggestion:
As soon as you open the casing the xbox's warranty is voided. And you have to open it up to flash it. Risky, not if you don't go online. You don't need a "Mod Chip" or anything really (you could on the Lite-On drives if you wanted). And flashing is pretty safe if you have a reliable computer and know what your doing, or understand the walkthroughs. Also flashing IS legal. You purchased the xbox you can change the firmware all you want. Just that it is bannable and getting copies of games that you didn't create from your original discs for back-up purposes is illegal, just like the same concept of buying burnt cds.
