How Can I Stop My Xbox 360 from Freezing?

Every time i play gears of war 2, my xbox freezes up and i dont know why. I've installed it into my xbox, tried playing on my account from my friends xbox, used different copies of the game, but it still freezes. i've played it before this whole problem happened but now i cant play at all. Any tips or advice?

i think i can help some times with a game has multiple updates the updates don't work together and they end up corrupting each other causing the game to go slow or sometimes freeze all you can have to do is clear the cache. what that is going to do is delete all the updates for every game you have bought and when you put the game in it will download only the most resent update and your game will run smoother and faster your down loadable content like extra maps and players will not be effected you will also notice your xbox runs faster
