How Do You Play Farmville?

Have you ever bought Farm Cash in Farmville? Have you spent your hard earned cash on a game that’s built around social networking sites? And yet are you still working to keep up with your friends? Are you still trying to build your farm up to it’s full potential?

Isn’t it funny how stressful life can become when you’re spending your hard earned money on a game like farmville? Isn’t it interesting how deeply we can get drawn into something that seems so simple, and yet, it gives us a competitive spirit? Regardless of the fact that the game has very little true “competition” in the game, people make their own competition by trying to best their friends in buying power, and how many neighbors they have, and any number of other ways.

I always thought the purpose of a game was to reduce stress, not increase it…. It’s funny how easily such a thing can make life harder instead of easier. So, what are you to do? There are a few options, which include; buying more Farm Cash, finding cheats, or buying a strategy guide. Obviously the first option isn’t a very good one, so let’s look at the other two.

First you have cheats. None of us truly want to be a cheater, but sometimes it’s tempting isn’t it? But, of course, there’s a problem with this, as we won’t truly feel as though we’ve accomplished anything, since a bot, or a glitch gives us what we actually gain. We haven’t earned it honestly, so we don’t actually enjoy what we gain through it. We lose the enjoyment of the game, and that’s if you don’t get caught and banned. None of that sounds like fun to me, and fun is my main reason for playing games. What’s yours?

Now onto the other option, Strategy Guides. I wouldn’t have thought originally, that a game like Farmville would need a strategy guide, and I was right. I was right for my way of playing the game, but I KNOW there are many people out there who play the game far differently than I do. For those players, a strategy guide is a great tool. I’m not implying I’m better at the game, merely that I’m not quite as competitive. For those players who add competition to the game, whether through the amount of neighbors they have, the amount of animals they have, or whatever it may be. These people could very well use a well written strategy guide to save themselves both stress and money.

After all, is farmville worth the stress? How about the money spent over and over again to buy farm cash? Why not pay a set price for a strategy guide, and only have to pay for it once? If Farmville is a cause of stress, perhaps a strategy guide is exactly what you need.

There are many good resources on these things throughout the web. Just to get you started, check out this blog at: Farmville Blog
