Since the 1970′s when Atari came out with its original game console and had standard games using the joystick with one red button to hit. Some of those games were Space Invaders, Pac Man, Pitfall, Basketball, Berzerk, and Donkey Kong. We all can recall using the paddles for other games like Warlords, Tennis, and Breakout.
It should come as no surprise that children, teens and young adults spend over $10 billion a year within the United States on all kinds of console games. This doesn’t even include the actual gaming console or accessories one might spend on for their own entertainment system like Nintendo, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Wii Fit, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS. As we head into the second decade of the new millennium, the sky’s the limit for what new gaming consoles, video games and accessories will be produced!
What if I love video games, but don’t which gaming console to buy? Research, research, research the Internet! That’s what it is there for! Depending on your budget, the answer will depend a little bit on what kind of game system you are using, but the truth is there is only one answer: video game rental. Home video game systems are fun to play and some adults enjoy the benefits of exercising with Nintendo Wii Fit which makes burning calories more fun than going to a gym.
