Why Cant I Play Burned Xbox 360 Games?

well i had my flashed xbox for a while know but i didnt have dual layer disks but i have them now,well the problem is that when i burn the game and put it in my xbox it loads for a sec and then is says open disk tray.WHAT SO I DO

Maybe it was not burned properly.
