My Xbox 360 is Burning My Games?

sometimes my games wont read and when they do my xbox leaves what microsoft told me is a laser burn on the bottom of the disk and makes it unreadable. they want 120 to fix it is there a cheaper and easier way to do it, and how do i do it? also what is actually wrong?
