Suggestion:
Finding a working JTAGable console nowadays may be a pain & JTAG units can get pricy. You would need to flash the disc drive.

You can do it without jtagging but you need to open. Look up flashing xbox 360. Flashing is also safe on live.
No. You can't. But you can try to pry open your xbox without breaking the seal. I tried it before.
